Mix up your knit and crochet skills with tutor, designer & author Carol Meldrum. During this workshop you will switch between knit and crochet techniques while learning how to construct this stunning shawl.
On the day we will look at how to keep the stitch counts correct as you move between both techniques. In addition you will learn to work from crochet charts, giving you a better understanding of the similarities between the skills.
Once the construction is mastered you can complete the project in the comfort of your own home.
Skill level: intermediate - must know basic crochet & knitting stitches
Included in the cost of the workshop are refreshments, 'a fine piece' and one Scheepjes Whirl in a colour of your choosing (RRP £21.99).
Please bring with you 4mm knitting needles, 3mm & 3.5mm crochet hooks and a packed lunch.
