In this workshop you will learn to make your own Wee Blackface Sheep designed by Janice Anderson. Colin (as he is more fondly known) is made from Jamieson's of Shetland Marl, a chunky weight wool which knits up quickly. Apart from his legs (Which you will knit at home as 'homework' prior to the class.) Colin is knit entirely 'in the round' avoiding the need for sewing up! Yeehaw!
Included in the cost of the workshop is one ball of Jamieson's Marl and 3 patterns, Wee Blackface Sheep Version 2 (Seamless), Ramsay MacSporran (Highland Dress outfit) and Rudolph Ramdeer (Christmas Outfit), 4.5mm double pointed needles, toy stuffing and wool felt for eyes. Total RRP £30.
Some experience of knitting 'in the round' will be helpful.
Not included in the cost of the workshop is the yarn to make clothing and outfits.
Please bring with you a packed lunch.
Light refreshments and snacks are provided.
Please Note: Once you have booked your place on this workshop you will be required to complete 'homework' with yarn provided by Baa. You will be contacted via email to make arrangements to collect this or it can be posted to you (£4 p&p) if you do not live locally.
