A small, creative venue and yarn shop run by the proprietor Janice Anderson. The website was established in September 2017, and the online shop in December 2017. Baa! the bricks and mortar shop will open it’s doors on 3rd February 2018.

All the information provided on the Baa! website is accurate to the best of our knowledge. If an error is identified we will correct it as soon as possible. Colour names and shade numbers used on the website are those provided by the supplier. Please be aware that computer screens display colours in different ways, the colour you see on your screen may not be the exact colour of the yarn.
OUT OF STOCK GOODS
Our aim is to provide you with the best service possible, however, we are a small shop with limited space to hold large amounts of stock. If we do not have enough stock to complete your order, we will email or telephone you to let you know. We want you to be happy with our service so you will be given the following options:
Placing your items on back-order.
Choosing to accept part of the order. (With yarn orders we cannot guarantee the dye lot numbers of a new delivery will match.)
Cancelling the order.
CANCELLATION by ‘Baa!’
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
We have insufficient stock to meet your order.
We do not deliver to your area.
One or more goods you ordered was shown at an incorrect price due to human error or an error in the price received by Baa! from the supplier.
In the unlikely event that we cancel your order we will notify you by email, offer an alternative to resolve the situation and if no solution is agreed will re-credit your account the sum deducted by us as soon as possible and within 14 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Consumers purchasing goods online have the right to a 14 day cooling off period in which to cancel their order. However, certain goods are exempt from the right to cancel. These include:
1. Bespoke or personalised goods.
2. Magazines & periodicals.
If a consumer places a single online order that includes exempt and non-exempt goods, they have the right to cancel non-exempt goods, unless it is physically impossible to separate them from the exempt goods once they have been delivered.
THE COOLING OFF PERIOD
The cooling off period ends 14 days after the day when the consumer receives the goods. However, the following exception applies:
Where a consumer orders multiple products, or a single product that is supplied in various pieces, the cooling off period ends 14 days after the last of the products or pieces are delivered.
WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel a workshop up to 10 days before the start date to receive a full refund. After this time only 50% of the workshop cost can be returned unless someone can be found to take your place. We keep a waiting list and will do our best to find a replacement on your behalf.

In the unlikely event that Baa! has to cancel a workshop at any time, you will receive a full refund of the workshop cost but not travel or accommodation expenses incurred.
Returning goods to ‘Baa!’ must be done within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The parcel must contain a note with the following information:
A copy of the original order number
Your email address
Your phone number
Your delivery address
A description of damage or reason for the cancellation of the order

We cannot accept liability for returned goods which are lost or damaged during transit. Please wrap the product/s carefully to avoid any, or further damage and return to Baa! by recorded delivery, registered post, or courier. Proof of postage cannot be accepted as proof of delivery.
We will reimburse delivery costs incurred when returning damaged merchandise and will send replacement merchandise, at no cost to you, once we have examined the damage.
When a consumer cancels an order, the trader must refund any money received from the consumer, including the standard amount charged for delivery. For example, a trader offering the first-class delivery for £3 and next day delivery for £8 will only be required to reimburse £3, regardless of the delivery method selected.
If the goods are worth less as a result of the consumer handling them, the trader may deduct an amount representing the reduction in value.
Traders must issue refunds without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day they received the returned good or receive evidence that the consumer has sent them back, whichever is earlier. Unless the consumer has agreed otherwise, refunds must be made by the same payment method used to purchase the goods.
For delivery in the UK, we use 1st class Royal Mail, un-tracked and uninsured. Provided the goods are in stock, items will be dispatched within 1 to 3 working days (See opening hours). Delivery times can vary, but are typically 2-3 days for UK mainland, however, please allow up to a week for delivery.
For delivery outside the UK, we use the International Standard Royal Mail service. Provided the goods are in stock, items will be dispatched within 1 to 3 working days (See opening hours). Delivery times can vary but are typically 7-10 days for Europe and 10-14 days for the rest of the world.
Postage and carriage are calculated by weight and shown at checkout. You will be able to view the delivery cost before you finalise your purchase.
For UK delivery:
Up to 1kg = £4, 1 to 2kg = £6
Over 2kg weight or £60 value will be sent free.
For EU delivery:
The price will vary depending on weight from a minimum of £4 to a maximum of £20.
For all other countries:
The price will vary depending on weight from a minimum of £5 to a maximum of £25.
