A fine, single ply version of our heavier Loch Lomond. This delicate yarn has a  British Tweed look.  It is a woollen spun yarn which means it has a nice volume and at the same time a good long yardage. This results in very light garments. 
 
This light yarn is not as stable as a worsted spun yarn. When you knit tightly, please be careful not to break the fibre. The rustique look with the typical tweed nups inspires cosy cardigans, men's sweaters and very warm shawls.
 
Like all our BC Garn yarns Loch Lomond Lace is GOTS certfified, that means from sheep to dye stuff, from production to stock keeping and packing, each step is inspected carefully and in line with very strict organic and social standards.

The raw wool for Loch Lomond comes from mulesing-free farms in South America. It is spun and dyed in Turkey.
