Each 215g cake of Scheepjes Whirl holds an enormous 1000m of yarn which gently changes colour, giving you more than enough yarn for a large shawl or wrap with beautiful drape. Unlike other gradient yarns, Whirl has a generous twist which adds strength and prevents splitting whilst working up. Each coloured yarn is expertly tied to ensure a discreet colour change that hides away within the stitches.
Scheepjes Whirl is also a perfect match to its smaller sister 4-ply yarn, Whirlette. These single colour balls are a perfect match to the inner and outer colours of the Whirl cakes giving you the ability to extend a gradient project, whether that’s adding a ribbing at the bottom of a knitted sweater, or adding a border to a baby blanket.
For UK delivery, we use Royal Mail’s Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 services. Provided goods are in stock, every effort will be made to dispatch your order the next day during shop opening hours, 1-3 days when the shop is closed.
To give you the best results we always check the dye lot numbers match within each order. If for any reason it is not possible to complete your order using only one dye lot we will contact you as soon as possible.
