Consisting of a mix of bright solids, self-striping and self-patterning colourways, the WYS Signature 4ply collection offers something for every knitting project. They’ve expanded this palette yet again with six stunning new shades, each inspired by the markings and movement of butterflies.
Spun from a durable blend of 75% British wool (including 35% Bluefaced Leicester) and 25% nylon, this sock yarn is of, course, an ideal choice for all manner of hand-knit socks that will last, but but we wouldn’t stop there. The softness and drape of this fingering weight yarn, thanks to that lustrous Bluefaced Leicester, make it equally suited to shawls, mitts, and other fine knitted accessories.
Making its debut in June 2025, the WYS Signature 4ply Butterflies Collection, uses a unique dyeing technique that combines gentle stripes with soft sprays of colour, to create a fluttering effect as you knit. We think they’re absolutely lovely, don’t you agree?
For UK delivery, we use Royal Mail’s Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 services. Provided goods are in stock, every effort will be made to dispatch your order the next day during shop opening hours, 1-3 days when the shop is closed.
To give you the best results we always check the dye lot numbers match within each order. If for any reason it is not possible to complete your order using only one dye lot we will contact you as soon as possible.
