Sunny Summer Sale!

Updated: Jul 5, 2020

Hello my woolly friends, I am back from the depths of GDPR brain drain, paperwork trauma and the juggling of many balls of yarn using my hands and my feet! I hereby solemly swear that the Baa! Blog will now be a regular monthly occurance, or I will eat my knitting needles!

I have been working away in my wee shop for six months now, Baa! is a lovely place to be... When the sun shines the light streams in and fills the shop with summer vibes. It is a very happy space, folks mention this often. And, it is fast becoming the woolly social hub I hoped for, I am a very lucky lady! We have 3 knit groups running now, Wednesday afternoon 2pm-4pm, Wednesday evening 7pm-9pm and Thursday evening 7pm-9pm. The workshop schedule has been non-stop, Carol Meldrum, Karie Westermann, Dorothy Petrie, Fiona Meade, Le Petit Moose, Helena Wilton and little old me. And boy do I have plans for the Autumn! Karie is returning to Baa in November and there are a few more surprises in store too!

Here are a few snaps of what has been going on:

To celebrate the sun, summer and our first six months I thought it would be a great idea to have a little summer sale. For one week only the following products will have 20% off. So grab a bargain while you can! (sale ends midnight GMT on 17th July, 2018 - while stocks last) This offer is only available online but if you live locally you can save on postage by choosing the ‘click and collect’ option at the checkout.

I would speculate you are all quite relieved Baa! has had little to say regarding the GDPR regulations enforced in May 2018. Infact, Baa has little to say about anything during April, May and June!

Personally I like to refer to GDPR as my Gigantic Drain on Productivity Results and during this time my poor wee brain was positively throbbing with information overload.

However, in true ‘Anderson’ style i.e. ‘Better late than never’ …

"I am required to inform you of our Policy updates in accordance with the recently introduced GDPR. Please read our revised Privacy, and Payment and Card Security policies. I would encourage you to do so, even though it makes for pretty boring reading! "

Many websites have asked followers to resubscribe in order to continue receiving information and newsletters. However as subscribers you have chosen to receive news and updates from Baa! so ‘resubscribing’ is not a legal requirement. You can choose to unsubscribe at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any mailing you receive from our website or by contacting Janice at hello@baawool.co.uk
