The Croft Shetland Tweed is the result of a long-awaited opportunity for West Yorkshire Spinners to work with Shetland Island Wool, a fibre celebrated for its fineness, warmth, and strength. This stunning aran weight yarn is spun using beautiful Island fleeces supplied by Jamieson & Smith of Shetland.
The high levels of crimp and wave in the fleece make it ideal for hand knitting. It is soft and silky on the needles but with surprising durability.
