Shetland Wool Week Islesburgh Toorie Knit Kit
The Islesburgh Toorie was designed by 2024 Wool Week patrons, the Doull Family. Our kit allows you to create the official Shetland Wool Week Hat—a ‘must-have’ for any colourwork enthusiast.

Our ‘Arthur’s Seat’ colour-way includes 6 x 25g balls of Spindrift yarn in the following shades:

• 2 x 130 Sky
• 1 x 236 Rosewood
• 1 x 318 Woodgreen
• 1 x 249 Fern
• 1 x 233 Spagnum

Enough yarn to complete a large-size Toorie.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Kits DO NOT include the knitting pattern or knitting needles.
• Occasionally, we may run out of a particular colour in your chosen kit. If this happens, we will carefully select a complementary substitute to ensure your kit maintains its original appeal.

See below for sizing and needle suggestions:

Small – To fit 49cm head circumference. Suggested needle size 2.5mm

Medium – To fit 52cm head circumference. Suggested needle size 2.75mm

Large – To fit 56cm head circumference. Suggested needle size 3.00mm

It is essential that you check your tension carefully and adjust your needle size accordingly.
