After the success of their first crochet mag, Laine Let’s Crochet Issue 2 had big boots to fill, and we think it’s safe to say it has. Their second crochet special is full of fresh spring and summer crochet inspiration, featuring 17 contemporary summer crochet patterns from designers around the world.
Let’s Crochet Issue 2 has a really playful feel to it. There are lightweight crochet tops, easy layering pieces, colourful accessories and fun projects that are super wearable and genuinely exciting to make. There are some more subtle and elegant designs, like the stunning Candela by COSMAUDI and the Clematis sweater by Stitch Storie that’s on the cover, alongside bright and colourful crochet pieces like Good Point by Julia Madill and Suus, a colourblock market bag by Monika Soltysik.
The issue features an abundance of crochet techniques, too, such as filet crochet, lace and mosaic crochet, and loads of textured stitch patterns, such as the jasmine stitch, adding visual interest to Krysten Wilson’s Haven Hobo bag. There really is something for every crocheter.
As you’ll have come to expect from Laine, this crochet magazine is so beautifully put together too. Gorgeous photography, thoughtful styling and clear pattern layouts make this one a proper joy to flick through.
