Wilderness Knits is a product of this, filled with 23 knitting patterns for cosy colourwork jumpers, cardigans and headbands made with hardy Norwegian and Icelandic wool like Lopi yarns. These weather-proof handknits are designed to repel water and cold, so they’re perfect for hikes, dog walks, or just braving the brisk Scottish air.
Each colourwork knitting pattern in Wilderness Knits is inspired by the beautiful natural landscapes of Norway. Inside, you’ll find 23 knitting patterns including her best selling Wilderness Sweater, Cardigan and Kid’s.
Each knitting pattern is suitable for confident knitters and comes with full written instructions and colourwork charts. At the beginning of the book, Linka also includes loads of advice on the Icelandic and Norwegian yarns used in her patterns and tips for how to choose the right size to cast on.
