Laine Issue 30

Autumn knitting is calling, and Laine Issue 30 is here to answer.

The Autumn 2026 issue of Laine Magazine, Layers, features 15 beautiful knitting patterns designed for wrapping yourself up as the weather starts to cool. The collection explores the loveliest of textures, delicate lace knitting, plump cables and incredible colourwork, all photographed in a rustic, historical mill setting that makes everything nostalgic and autumnal.

There are plenty of cosy sweaters and cardigans to inspire your autumn knitting plans, alongside a couple of vests, shawls and a super squishy ribbed hat. Some of the knitted designs are satisfyingly meditative, like the relaxed-fit Menamu by Natascha Tulloch, with its easy-to-memorise stitch pattern, while others challenge your brain a bit more with lace, cables and some lovely colourwork.

The variety of textures amongst the knitting patterns is fantastic. We love Anniina Juuti’s Huurre vest, which uses De Rerum Natura Gilliatt to combine the plumpest of cables with defined ribbing, and the Ljung sweater by The Weststrand Sisters which has a repetitive 3D texture created with slipped, knit and purl stitches.

Laine Issue 30 includes:
