The Croft Shetland Aran is the result of a long-awaited opportunity for West Yorkshire Spinners to work with Shetland Island Wool, a fibre celebrated for its fineness, warmth, and strength. This stunning aran weight yarn is spun using beautiful Island fleeces supplied by Jamieson & Smith of Shetland.
The high levels of crimp and wave in the fleece make it ideal for hand knitting. It is soft and silky on the needles but with surprising durability.
For UK delivery, we use Royal Mail’s Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 services. Provided goods are in stock, every effort will be made to dispatch your order the next day during shop opening hours, 1-3 days when the shop is closed.
To give you the best results we always check the dye lot numbers match within each order. If for any reason it is not possible to complete your order using only one dye lot we will contact you as soon as possible.
